The Prone Cobra

This is a great exercise for someone with forward head posture and/or rounded shoulders as it conditions the postural muscles and helps re-establish optimal postural alignment. 

Strengthens both upper and lower back muscles.
You should feel the muscles between your shoulder blades doing the work.
If you feel stress in your low back, squeeze your butt cheeks together prior to lifting your torso.
Perform for 30 seconds then rest for 15 seconds. Repeat this 6 to 10 times. 
Work up to be able to perform the prone cobra for 3 mins straight.
